Mitch White Pastor of Spiritual Growth
I’ve been married to my high school sweet heart; Virginia, since 1990 and we are the parents of two fantastic kids: Caleb and Lindsay. I am a HUGE sports fan, and especially love my alma-mater, North Carolina State Wolfpack! I have a new love for golf and a continued love for my yard, doing small construction projects and hanging out with my family. Favorite Movie: Glory!; Favorite book: “The Jesus Way” by Eugene Peterson; What I order at Starbucks: Venti Pike roast, touch of cream, 1 Spenda.I play various roles at Lake Forest but primarily oversee and resource environments that shape Spiritual Growth in the lives of our adults. My heart for the Lake Forest Community is to enable people to grow on their journeys with Christ by creating and developing environments for them to be intentional about growing: Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, First Contact Ministries, and Discovery Courses are a few of these. I also love walking with individuals in their personal journeys through pastoral counseling and care.
