At Lake Forest, we welcome you …
…to explore with us the meaning of life and the God who created all things. We work hard to foster a safe community for spiritual explorers and be an encouraging partner for Jesus followers.
We believe the church is not a weekly gathering, a building or an institution. It is a living organism made of people who are banded together in our Jesus-mission of loving each other and loving the world.
During our Sunday services, we aspire–through the Scriptures, wide-open rock-worship AND reflective music, prayer, and other less predictable sources–to encounter God in a compelling yet sacred environment. And during the week we gather in smaller groups to encounter God through living life together. We passionately want this living organism called the church to be God’s tool for penetrating our everyday lives and the changing culture around us.
