Throughout the year events are planned with the purpose of providing the women at LFC ways of connecting with each other. All are safe places to invite your friends, meet some new faces or just opportunities to be encouraged. Some events include summer salad gatherings, Soul Refill, Spring Women’s Retreat, Inside Edition, old fashioned tea party’s, whitewater rafting trips, and more.

Friday, March 19 - Sunday, March 21

Ladies, let’s get together to REST and REJUVENATE in Christ this spring. We’ll worship an awesome God within the North Carolina mountains, recharge our spirits and bodies and find encouragement in one another.

Main Speaker: Cammie Howard
Worship Led by Liz Butler and Michelle McConnell
Accommodations: Mountain Laurel Inn at Ridgecrest Retreat Center in Black Mountain, NC (double-occupancy, hotel-style lodging).

Friday, March 19
Check-in: 5pm (grab dinner “on your own” before or after check-in)
First Session: 7pm

Saturday, March 20
Morning: Enjoy a time or worship and reflection together.
Afternoon: Explore Black Mountain or Ridgecrest’s recreation offerings (hiking, tennis, coffee shops, “rocking chair row,” etc.)
Evening: Second Session followed by a time of prayer.

Sunday, March 21
Enjoy a leisurely morning and our Final Session. Checkout by noon.

Cost:
$170 until Feb. 21
$180 after Deb. 21
Covers all meals, lodging and supplies.
A $75 deposit is due at time of registration. Scholarships are available – email women@lakeforet.org and let us know your need.
