Women’s Ministry End-of-Summer Retreat: Choose Your Adventure August 20-22 Our annual end-of-summer trip returns this August 20-22 to the Falling Waters Group Lodge in Bryson City, NC with a few exciting changes. This year, participants will be able to choose the intensity of their adventure - from white water rafting on an Olympic course to leisurely tubing down a creek. What remains the same is that this trip is a great way to meet and connect with others and spend time with God without the distractions of your daily routine. |

Welcome 101 Next Session Begins August 22 When you are ready to take the next step at LFC, Welcome 101 is the best way to learn why we do what we do. In this five-week class, led by our Pastoral Staff on Sunday evenings from 6-7:45pm, you’ll explore the Christian Faith, find out how to become a Lake Forest Ministry Partner (Member) and connect with others. Our next class begins on August 22 and another begins this fall on October 3. |

StoryTellers Monday, August 23 at 7pm All of our short-term mission teams have returned home from Bolivia, Mexico and Athens, Ohio and have brought once-in-a-lifetime experiences with them. Join us on Monday, August 23 at 7pm to hear about their experiences - what they saw, what they learned, how God moved through them. |
