| Summer College-Age Community Wednesday, July 8, 7pm at LFC; then 8pm at Cook Out - Exit 23 College-age folks at Lake Forest are getting together this Wednesday for a Bible study at LFC and will then be at Cook Out on exit 23 by 8pm for milkshakes. If you are 18-22 (from those who just graduated high school to those who just graduated college), we’d love for you to join us for the Bible study at 7 or the milkshakes at 8 or both. | Women’s Whitewater Rafting August 14-16, 2009 This group of adventurous LFC women are going down constant waves and swift clear currents. The magnificent scenery provides an exhilarating introduction to whitewater rafting. On last year’s trip, the rapids like the Whirlpool, the Bump, and Nantahala Falls provided just enough excitement to make it a memorable trip. Sign-up online now! |

Welcome 101 Next class starts: FALL 2009 This five week class, led by our Pastoral Staff on Sunday evenings from 6-7:45pm, is a great way to explore the Christian Faith and discover how to become a Ministry Partner (Member). |
| Discovering Baptism Next Class: FALL 2009 If you are interested in learning more about LFC’s view on Baptism, being baptized or having your child baptized, or you just have lots of questions about Baptism, plan to attend our baptism class. It’s a required class for anyone who wants to be baptized at Lake Forest Church. |

| Vocational Ministry Lunch Resuming in FALL 2009 @ Lake Forest Church Fireplace Dr. Mike Moses will hold a monthly lunch discussion for people who are in vocational (full-time) ministry, or are considering ministry as a career (ministry = parachurch, social needs, counseling, church, etc). Each month a different topic will be thrown out for discussion (philosophy of ministry issues, spiritual health of the minister, etc.). Please bring your own lunch and rsvp to spowell@lakeforest.org. Feel free to bring a friend - non-LFC folks are welcome. |
