Community Groups

A Community Group is a smaller group of people that come together for the main purpose of developing their relationships (discipleship) with Christ. It’s like a small family centered on encouraging each other to grow.

We believe that this is the place where significant life transformation occurs and we encourage everyone who calls Lake Forest Church home to join a community group. Find out more…

20s Group
First Sunday of each month, 12pm at Tijuana Flats

For college grads through 29, married and single folks! Contact Brandon Piner 20s@lakeforest.org for more information.

Support Groups

CARE Support exists to serve the needs of those who are in “special care” situations. Many of these situations go beyond the scope of what the Community Group can provide. Here you can find support groups and counseling services.

Oasis Women’s Study Groups

Oasis groups are a great place to get to know other women, to get refreshed spiritually, to explore and grow in faith. They are a place to belong (no matter your age or stage of life); to believe (no matter where you are in your spiritual journey); and to become (all that God has created you to be!).

Women’s Book Club

Do you love to read? Are you interested in meeting other women who do, too? Please contact Anne Cathey, 704-896-9063, for information about our next book and meeting. We welcome newcomers and old-timers alike!

Men’s Study Groups

Studies are offered throughout the week and meet at various places including Lake Forest Church, Bruggers Bagels and the Galway Hooker Pub.
