One of the very best ways to connect at Lake Forest is to find a place to serve! It’s a great way to meet new people, make new friends, and become a part of a mini-community of folks that are working together to accomplish what they could never do alone.

Scripture tells us that in 1 Corinthians 12:27 “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” How great is that?! If you are a Christ follower, YOU are part of the body of Christ and you have a significant part to play in how we live out His mission of love to the world!

• Know too, that if you are just exploring Christianity, we invite you to take your time in the journey of exploring the claims of Christ.
• If you are coming in tired and burned out, rest awhile before you jump in.

Serving is a response to the love and grace we have been given as beloved children of God, it’s not about “getting busy”.

It’s a joy to serve when we know that we are participating in the eternal story and partnering with God in Kingdom purposes.
