TLC Day for new Butterfly Bin Location.

Saturday, September 6 - Butterfly Bin, a household goods pantry in the Lake Norman area, is moving to its new location in Huntersville. Before we can open our doors to the public, our new location needs some cleaning, painting and yard-work. Contact Jaye Soss for more information.

Adopt-a-College Student.

Our goal is to pair a student with a local family, putting a name and face on the church and providing the student with a home-away-from-home family. Check out the stories from last year online. If your family is interested in adopting a student, contact Chris Brown at college@lakeforest.org.

Friday Morning Folding Help

Childcare for Oasis Women’s Studies

The Oasis studies will start up again on Thursday, September 11 and run through November 18. We are looking for six people who would love to serve young mothers and their children by investing their Thursday mornings in this ministry. If you love children and are available on Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 11:30, this is a fabulous way to serve women and the preschoolers! If you would like to volunteer, or need more information, please contact Jenn Poppen.

Student Ministry

We are always looking for leaders to help us with both:

• loving on kids (e.g. leading small groups, worship, games, etc); and
• the behind the scenes efforts (e.g. retreat planning, Sunday night planning, food, etc).
