“Inspiring students to connect with Christ, own their faith, and impact their world”

Student Ministry Strategy

At a meeting on January 17, Director of Students and Families Greg TeSelle presented his mission and strategy for students and families, including a new schedule for middle and high school ministry (see Student Programs below).

Weekly Discipleship

Our Middle and High School students will now meet on Wednesdays from 7-8:15pm. Middle School will meet in the Core Room, and High School will meet in the Quad Room. This is a time for those students that want to grow and move forward with their relationship with God. (Dinner is available each Wednesday beginning at 6:45pm. Students can buy a meal for $3.50)

Why is Middle School Discipleship now on Wednesday Nights?
We wanted to keep Middle School Discipleship on Sunday Nights, but after looking at the Fall Calendar, we were only going to be able to meet eight times on Sunday Nights due to holiday’s and other event conflicts (retreats, concerts, hangout, etc). We felt that eight, sporadic meetings over a four month period wasn’t enough time together, would lack consistency, and would be confusing to remember. So Wednesday night was the best option remaining, where we can meet 14-16 times together on a consistent basis!
