From Pastor Nandu: 03/11/08
Greetings from Kalimpong. How is Dylan and Austin? We pray for all of you in our daily prayers along with Lake Forest Church. I was not able to write you e-mails because my M.Th. assignments and studies and plus the ministry has occupied my lot of time so was not able to write, please pardon me. But we have always and always thought of you all and remembered specially in our family. We have so many reasons to pray and remember you.
Anu is fine, we are expecting our second baby to come soon, in May. Please remember in your prayers especially for now coming bay and Anu’s health. We don’t have good doctor (gynecologist) in Kalimpong and not proper equipments for the care of patient. Anu had her scissor in the first delivery and we have to do the same for second baby too. Apphia is going to school (Montessori) nearby our home.
Ministry:
- (a) BTCP training is going well. We have 25 students (Pastors and Church leaders) from different parts of Eastern Himalayas of north India, Nepal and Bhutan too. Local Pastors and Church leaders (those who are theologically qualified) have been teaching from BTCP 10 manuals and classes have been very fruitful so far. I am teaching, Mission-Evangelism and church Planting and this is my hear for the ministry.
- (b) Orphanage is doing very well. Children are healthier than last year and they all are improving their studies. They were very poor in learnings but slowly they are improving, we thank God. They all going to school in different grades and doing very well.
- (c) Sikkim, Rorathang’s “St. Steven’s Nursery School” is also running very well. This year we have little above 50 children and all these children are from very poor community. Most of their parent are daily workers in the road side constructions and colleting the rocks and sands from the river side. Through these school ministry, church in Rorathang has special privilege to witness for the gospel and has opened the door for reaching the people. Believers are increased in number in Rorathang Church.
- (d) Our church planting and evangelism works have increased. I am now looking over 15 churches in north India, 3 in Bhutan and 2 in Nepal. Those churches are leading by our BTCP graduates and I am giving supervision for the spiritual covering and revival-growth. Till this batch we will have over 100 Pastors and Church leaders graduated from BTCP training in Partnership with Lake Forest Church and Joe Gibbs Racing, NC.
We thank you for your untiring support, commitments, prayers, dedication and financial support so far for the establishing the kingdom of God in this region. Lake Forest Church NC and Joe Gibbs Racing is equally credited for all this ministerial accomplishments in every step. We know God has on His record what Lake Forest has done so far in advancing the kingdom of God through equipping local church leaders Pastors and other means of mission works.
Please Our Greetings to Lake Forest Church assembly in Sunday service from Kalimpong India. We are honored and privileged to partner for equipping the church leaders and Pastors through BTCP training in this part. Please express our gratitude to all.
In His service,
Pastor Nandu and family.
