Middle School Student Mission
Saturday, July 5 – Friday, July 11
Destination
Lake Forest Middle School Youth will head for the hills of West Virginia - Bluefield, West Virginia to be exact to work with low income and elderly residents on construction type projects. We will also work with children in the local community.
Objective
That through this mission trip lives will be changed. Not only will it change the lives of those you’ve come to serve but it will also change your life too!
Partnership
We will be partnering the Wade Center which is part of the Urban Application Project ministry.
Service
A typical day – In the morning, we will complete work projects that range from painting and cleaning to small carpentry project. In the afternoon, we will help with the Wade Center’s ministry to children and teens in the community. Helping with summer camp, playing kickball, or just offering words of encouragement may be some of the ministries you will be asked to help with. In the evenings, a time to reflex on the day, have fun with your group, and praise God for the opportunity to serve.

Participants
This trip is designed for students who have completed the 6th, 7h, or 8th grade.
Travel
Transportation to Bluefield, WV will be provided via rental vans. Team Members will travel together. All travel arrangements will be made by the team leader.
Cost
The total cost for the trip is $400, which includes transportation, most meals, and lodging. You are strongly encouraged to not allow finances to be the main deciding factor. Fundraisers are planned and sponsorships are available.
